MARCH 8 – APRIL 13, 2019

Helikon Gallery is pleased to present the second edition of ‘Spectra,’ a group exhibition on the theme of color. The artists in this show have been selected for creating work that’s strongly concerned with the power of color as a method of expressing emotive visual themes, narratives, and moods. Color is at times simple and complex, ranging from symbolic associations with emotions and ideas to an entire array of abstract feelings that defy language entirely. The title is the plural form of the word ‘spectrum,’ meaning the continuum of colors in the range of visible light.
