1. Denver County Fair: “The Craziest County Fair in America”

If you haven’t heard, Helikon will be at the Denver County fair all weekend starting today, along with tons of local vendors, live entertainment, unique competitions, and delicious food selections. You can find us at booth 220 in the Arts Pavilion, right next to a friend of ours, Davey B. Gravey and his Tiny Cinema. Be sure to check out some ongoing fair favorites like pony rides, freak shows, and face painting, and don’t miss this year’s much talked-about Kitten Pavilion!

2. Final Friday

Explore RiNo during this month’s installment of Final Friday Denver, featuring art, live music, food vendors and an urban bazaar. This month’s showcase features over TWENTY venues throughout the neighborhood offering live performances and food/drink specials! Wristbands cost only $5 and contribute 100% to paying local musicians for their performances.

3. Biennial of the Americas

Although the main events of this year’s Biennial occurred in early July, the festival continues through the end of August. There’s still plenty of time to check out the ongoing exhibitions and installations. The Biennial is still a bit difficult to navigate, so here are the attractions not to miss:
